Forensic Anthropologist

Forensic Anthropologists apply principles of physical anthropology and osteology to assist law enforcement agencies in identifying human remains and determining causes of death.

  • Minimum of a Master’s degree in anthropology or forensic science.

  • Ph.D. is often required for research positions or higher-level forensic work.

  • Strong knowledge of human anatomy and skeletal biology.

  • Proficiency in osteological analysis and forensic techniques.

  • Attention to detail and critical thinking.

  • Effective communication skills for presenting findings and expert testimony.
